September 09, 2010
"Reflecting on the Language of Death," an article by Professor Deborah Gordon, has been accepted for publication in Seattle University Law Review. The article explores the advantages and costs of infusing wills with expressive language, and concludes that enhancing such documents with personalized expressions and narratives can help a testator convey intent to fiduciaries, beneficiaries and the courts. Gordon formerly practiced with Day Berry & Howard, LLP in Stamford, Conn. and with Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City.
