Trevor Ncube | Zimbabwe Trevor Ncube has more than four years of experience as a human rights activist in project management, implementation, supervision, and coordination. Currently, Trevor is a programs manager at Trans Research Education Advocacy and Training and focuses on advocating for the human and economic rights of trans and intersex people in Zimbabwe. Trevor is also a digital security specialist and focuses on privacy for human rights defenders. As a self-taught software developer, he takes a refreshingly innovative and modern approach to human rights activism that blends the unyielding power of technology to drive social change with his unwavering quest for the social inclusion of sexual and gender minorities in Zimbabwe. Driven by his passion for equality and strong sensitivity to diversity, Trevor has contributed to and led the drafting of United Nations shadow reports for his community. He has also delivered oral statements at the United Nations Human Rights Council on the state of sexual and gender minorities' rights in Zimbabwe. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Trevor plans to continue the fight against injustice, empower minority communities, and contribute to realizing an inclusive world and society.
