Ana V. Diez Roux, MD, PhD, a distinguished university professor in the Dornsife School of Public Health, was mentioned in a Feb. 20 STAT article about a letter of protest being sent to leadership of The National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine over plans to cut pending reports of words such as “health equity,” “marginalized populations,” and “restorative justice” and replacing them with vaguer terms.
