A collaboration between the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) and the Center for Firefighter Injury Research and Safety Trends (FIRST Center) at the Dornsife School of Public Health was featured in Firehouse Magazine on Feb. 5. The IAFF and FIRST Center developed two courses for fire and EMS workers to learn tactics to prevent on-the-clock attacks and diffuse volatile situations.
