A study co-authored by Shiriki Kumanyika, PhD, a research professor in the Dornsife School of Public Health, which found that food companies disproportionately target television advertising for unhealthy foods toward black teenagers, was featured in Jan. 15 stories in Huffington Post, CNN, Bloomberg, and various local news station websites from cities throughout the country.
