Welcoming Ceremony and Reception

Thursday, September 17, 2015

2:00 PM-3:00 PM

At the School of Public Health's annual Welcoming Ceremony, students publicly enter the field of public health as they embark on an educational process which will help them find the professional pathway through which each can contribute to public health and to the health and well-being of each individual within the global community.

This year’s speaker for our Welcoming Ceremony is Lorina Marshall-Blake, President of the Independence Blue Cross Foundation, where she leads the Foundation’s strategic, programmatic, and operational efforts to fulfill its mission of leading sustainable solutions to improving the health and wellness of our neighborhoods that can be replicated on a national scale.
