Discussion about Race, Police, Protests, and Media

Thursday, April 30, 2015

2:15 PM-12:00 AM

Description: This student-led discussion will focus on race, police, protests, and media.

"... There have been peaceful protests, violent protests, and much distress. There are many factors at play, such as race, community relations, law enforcement, feeling a lack of voice, media, and many more. It is important to talk about all of these issues, for our own sake and for the betterment of our society. Thus, if you are interested, there will be a facilitated discussion on Thursday April 30th at 2:15 PM in the Collaboratory (Nesbitt Lobby) for the Drexel SPH community. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome. All opinions and viewpoints are welcome, as long as everyone agrees to remain respectful!"
