Michelle Zhou received her M.Sc. from the University of Waterloo, Canada and a Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo in 2009.  Afterwards, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard School of Public Health working with Dr. Tianxi Cai and Dr. Xihong Lin until June 2012. Currently, Dr. Zhou is an assistant professor in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at Simon Fraser University, Canada. Her research focuses on model diagnosis, model selection, survival analysis, longitudinal data analysis, risk prediction, biomarker evaluation, and personalized medicine.
