MentalHealth4All: A Multilingual Platform to Promote Access to Mental Health in Europe
Wednesday, February 11, 2026
12:00 PM-1:00 PM
Although migrants and refugees have a higher risk to suffer from mental
health issues, they are less likely to access mental healthcare due to
language- and culture-related barriers.
The EU-funded project
“MentalHealth4All” was aimed at promoting access to mental healthcare migrants
and refugees who are not proficient in the local language. Partners from nine
European countries co-created with mental healthcare providers and migrants a
multilingual, culturally sensitive, evidence-based digital information platform
in mental healthcare. The presentation will share the outcomes of the project
and discuss its strengths and limitations.
