The Global Water Alliance's (GWA)
18th Annual Conference Levers for Progress to Strengthen Water
Sustainability and Public Health, co-hosted by the Dornsife School of Public Health, will be
held at Drexel University.
The overall objective of this
one-day conference is to create and exchange knowledge among global
practitioners, policy-makers, key partners and the greater community on how to
implement strategies in the water sector to build resilience for our communities
that align with the broader sustainability goals. This year, the participants
will be challenged to think and explore the challenges and options towards
water-smart management and improved informatics, including AI, to deliver on
improved water services, the associated hard and soft technologies, social
innovations for both the global north and south, as well as responsible and
strategic investments towards results and progress as run-up to the 2030 Agenda
for Sustainable Development. This is a hybrid event and virtual attendees are
welcome.

- Jocelyn Brown Hall, Regional Director for North America, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations
(FAO)
- Water Center at Penn (WCP) – Water-AI Nexus Center of Excellence: Amazon, Water Environment Federation (WEF),
WCP, and Leading Utilities of the World

Students and recent graduates are invited to submit a research poster for inclusion in the GWA Conference. Students who are selected to present their posters receive free conference registration.
Deadline for poster abstract submission is February 1, 2026.
