F31 and R36 NIH Proposals for Doctoral Students

Thursday, September 25, 2025

11:00 AM-12:30 PM

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) offers certain grant mechanisms just for doctoral students!

The F31 is a predoctoral fellowship, while the R36 supports research costs for doctoral dissertations. Come learn about both of these opportunities: what they require, how to apply, and how they can support your development as a researcher. Hear from students who've earned each of these awards and the faculty who support them. Both will answer your questions and offer insights for getting funded.

Email dsphresearchoffice@drexel.edu to register for the training.
