Alisa Stephens, PhD, Instructor of Biostatistics, University of Pennsylvania will give the talk "Flexible covariate-adjusted exact tests of randomized treatment effects with application to a trial of HIV education."

Alisa Stephens is an Instructor in the Division of Biostatistics at the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests include clinical trials, longitudinal data analysis and causal inference with an emphasis on semiparametric methods. Dr. Stephens serves as a faculty statistician on the Testosterone Trial, the Multidisciplinary Approach to Pelvic Pain Network and several projects in HIV prevention.
She received her Ph.D. and A.M. in Biostatistics from Harvard University and B.S in Mathematics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
