Ninth Annual Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Symposium

The theme of the 9th Annual Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Symposium is "Impacts of Extreme Heat on Maternal and Child Health: From Awareness to Action."

The symposium will explore the research and evidence on the impacts of extreme heat on maternal and child health and discuss ways families, communities, and governments can take action.

Keynote Speaker: Lindsey Burghardt, MD, MPH, FAAP, Chief Science Officer, Center on the Developing Child, Harvard University

In-person registration & breakfast begin at 8:00 AM.

A lunch reception will follow.

This event is co-hosted by the Maternal and Child Health Public Health Catalyst Program at the Drexel Dornsife School of Public Health, Drexel Maternal and Child Health Student Organization, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s PolicyLab.
