Tuesday, November 28, 2023

11:00 AM-12:00 PM

Join this Migration, Ethnicity, Racism & Health Group (MERHG) event.

Dr. Jennifer Glick is the Hoffman Professor of Sociology and Demography at Penn State University. Her research focuses on intersection of migration in the family life course. Dr. Glick prioritizes collaborative comparative research and engages in data collection with detailed measures of migration and children's well-being in Mexico, Mozambique, and Nepal as part of the NICHD funded 'FAMELO' project.

Dr. Glick will discuss her paper that examines how youth aspirations changed after COVID-19 related mitigation practices when compared to those expressed by the same youth prior to the onset of the pandemic.
