Drexel FIRST Quarterly Health Equity Seminar Series

This seminar series is part of the Drexel Faculty Institutional Recruitment for Sustainable Transformation (FIRST) Program, an NIH-funded research initiative focused on fostering inclusive excellence in health disparities research.

The goal of the seminar series is to provide a forum to discuss and debate exciting work and ideas related to understanding the drivers of health inequities and intervening to eliminate them.

Speaker: Dr. Mahasin Mujahid, Associate Professor, Epidemiology Department, University of California, Berkley

The talk title is Structural Racism and Place-based Health Inequities: Navigating Challenges and Creating Opportunities.
