The Ubuntu Center Global Series - Climate Change: A Transnational Conversation

The Ubuntu Global Series is designed to bridge relationships between transnational anti-racism efforts in the broader African Diaspora. This year, we will hold two virtual conversations on Climate Change and Reproductive Justice with partners and colleagues in Brazil and the US.

Reflecting our commitment to collective, transnational work, The Ubuntu Center Global Series will be co-hosted by the Ubuntu Center on Racism, Global Movements & Population Health Equity in partnership with Iyaleta – Research, Sciences, and Humanities (Brazil) and Article XII (US).

  • Erica Walker (US) – Professor at Brown University 
  • Janelle Edwards (US) – Ph.D. student at Drexel University 
  • Diosmar Santana Filho (BR) – Geographer and Ph.D. student at Fluminense Federal University
