The U.S. healthcare system continues to be in a state of robust change. COVID-19, racial reckonings, and the move from fee-for-service models to value-based payments in healthcare reimbursements have created a need for healthcare providers to improve health while keeping costs low. This discussion will focus on how the Model for Improvement can be used in healthcare settings to adhere to the quadruple aims of improving patient experience, improving health outcomes, lowering costs, and increasing provider joy.
