In this Environmental and Occupational Health (EOH) research seminar, Joan A. Casey, PhD Assistant Professor Department of Environmental Health Sciences Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, will present "Environmental equitemiology: the importance of centering equity in climate health research and policy."

The U.S. is decarbonizing its electricity sector. Joan will discuss the opportunity to improve health equity through the energy transition and the key role of environmental justice in environmental epidemiology in an era of climate change.
