Year One Documentary Screening

Monday, May 23, 2022

6:00 PM-8:00 PM

Join the National Perinatal Association Student Society (NPASS) & the Maternal and Child Health Student Organization for a screening of the film "Year One," followed by a discussion co-led by Pamela Geller, PhD, Associate Professor of Ob/Gyn and Public Health in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Drexel University and Chavis Patterson, PhD, Director of Psychosocial Services for the Division of Neonatology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

This film focuses on the common but stigmatized experience of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADS).

The goal of the film screening and discussion is to educate attendees on PMADS and evidence-based treatments so that we can better serve patients and families on an individual and societal level.

Trigger Warning: This video contains content about postpartum depression and suicidal ideation.

To-go food boxes will be available following the event for those attending in-person.

*Zoom link will be emailed to those who register to attend online prior to the screening. All are welcome! Please direct any questions to the Drexel MCH Program at MCH@Drexel.edu
