Maternal and Child Health Symposium

The 2022 Drexel Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Symposium on "Successful Models and Best Practices for Supporting Community Health Workers in Maternal and Child Health: Where Do We Go from Here?" will highlight, elevate, and support the work of community health workers (CHW) and their work in maternal and child health.

This year’s symposium will be a hybrid event with limited in-person capacity. Those who plan to attend in person are encouraged to register early as spots will fill quickly. Boxed lunches will be provided following the symposium.

Keynote Speaker: Patricia Peretz, MPH, Director, Community and Population Health Strategy, New York-Presbyterian Hospital

Panel Discussions will highlight Philadelphia CHW programs, CHW training and workforce development, the unique experience and expertise of CHWs, and strategies to support CHWs going forward.
