Applying An Antiracist Approach to Quantitative Research: Conceptualization, Datasets, & Analysis

This student-led session will focus on approaches to antiracist research and include perspectives on how to apply antiracism to quantitative investigations.
This informal session will include opening remarks by:
- Dr. Irene Headen (Assistant Professor, CHP)
- Dr. Tran Huynh (Assistant Professor, EOH)
- Dr. Reneé H. Moore (Research Professor, EpiBio and Director of the BSC)
Faculty will discuss ideas on how to apply antiracist principles to research based upon their own research and/or from the literature, offer suggestions/readings for students thinking of applying antiracist principles to their own research, and answer questions posed by students.
