The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics Seminar Series presents this talk "Scalable Competing Risk Modeling for Administrative Databases and Disease Registries" by Wenbo Wu, MS, PhD, Biostatistics and Joint PhD in Scientific Computing Expected August 2022 University of Michigan.
 
His current research synthesizes state-of-the-art methods from statistics, computational science, optimization, and machine learning to address critical and far-reaching issues in health services research and clinical practice, leveraging large-scale data from administrative databases, national disease registries, electronic medical records, and randomized controlled trials. Wenbo received his MS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, MA in Labor Economics from the Central University of Finance and Economics (China), and BA in Financial Management from Tianjin University (China).
