Sample Size Considerations for Stepped Wedge Designs With Subclusters

The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Dornsife's next Seminar Series event features Kendra Plourde, PhD, of the National Institute on Aging (NIA) Imbedded Pragmatic Alzheimers disease (AD) and AD Related Dementias Clinical Trials (IMPACT) Collaboratory at the Yale School of Public Health and the Department of Biostatistics at the Yale School of Internal Medicine, Department of Geriatrics.
 
 
Plourde received her PhD in biostatistics from Boston University in June of 2020. Her methodological expertise is in correlated data. During her time at Boston University, she focused on developing longitudinal methods for identifying determinants of cognitive decline that take into account various forms of selection bias. Currently she is a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University developing methods for cluster randomized trials through the NIA IMPACT Collaboratory.
