The department of Community Health and Prevention presents speaker Nina Yi Sun, JD, senior fellow at Stanford University.

About the Speaker:
Sun is a human rights attorney who addresses global health issues. A specialist in health & human rights, she spent several years at UNAIDS, where she worked on the Human Rights & Law portfolio in Asia and the Pacific focusing on scaling-up access to justice initiatives, reducing HIV-related stigma & discrimination, and increasing effective global advocacy. She has also worked with the World Health Organization, the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, and the Center for Reproductive Rights’ at the Geneva office, where she was responsible for advocacy with UN human rights mechanisms. Prior to her global work, she worked with the National Institutes of Health.
