The Maternal and Child Health Program at the Dornsife School of Public Health presents Rachel Levine, MD, Pennsylvania Secretary of Health, at their fourth annual Maternal & Child Health Symposium. 

 
Join us for presentations related to the opioid epidemic across the lifecourse from the national, state, and local levels including the community’s multi-faceted response in addressing the epidemic.
•The Opioid Epidemic in PA: The Pillars of Prevention, Rescue, and Treatment
•Federal HRSA initiatives & strategies in addressing the epidemic
•Provider panel including all Philadelphia-based Centers of Excellence & NAS treatment/reporting
•Family panel including parents and grandparents caring for children affected by the epidemic
•Role of media in understanding and framing the epidemic
•Community agency & policy panel
•Free naloxone (Narcan) training
•Resource fair and professional networking opportunities  
 
Following the symposium there will be a networking reception, lunch, and resource fair to facilitate building the capacity needed to address this epidemic.

Registration is free and breakfast and lunch is included.
