Wednesday, March 20, 2019

6:00 PM-8:00 PM

Join alumni and community members for a critical conversation on harm reduction strategies to prevent opioid overdose, including safe-injection sites. Moderated by Kensington Blues photographer, Jeffrey Stockbridge, BS photography ’05, panelists include:
  • Edward Rendell, former governor
  • Silvana Mazzella, associate executive director of Prevention Point
  • Angela Colistra, PhD, assistant clinical professor, College of Nursing and Health Professions
  • Stephen Lankenau, PhD, professor and associate dean for research, Dornsife School of Public Health
Afterward, attend a special reception then head over to the Paul Peck Alumni Center (3140 Market St. Philadelphia, PA 19104) for a private tour of Kensington Blues — an eye-opening photography exhibit capturing the harsh realities of those affected by drug addiction along Kensington Avenue.
