Public Health Pinning Ceremony and Reception

Arthur C. Evans, PhD, Commissioner, Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Service, City of Philadelphia, will give a keynote address.
New faculty and students from all bachelor's, master's and doctoral students will be formally welcomed into the field of public health and receive the school's receive human rights pin.
As part of the ceremony, students will recite the preamble to the United Nation's Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Charter of the World Health Organization, as they commit to social justice and respect for human rights and dignity, confirming "...the highest attainable standard of health is the right of every human being.”
A reception will follow.
