See our recent news feature in Drexel NOW and the Philadelphia Inquirer
Many parents want to encourage their child to eat more healthy foods, such as fruits and vegetables. Teaching healthy eating habits early in life is important for promoting healthy growth and development in your child.
However, parents commonly face challenges to encouraging children to make healthy food choices. Picky eaters, busy schedules, mealtime arguments or tantrums, and uncertainty about how to change your child’s eating habits are all common challenges.
Project PICNIC is a new research study that directly targets those challenges by teaching parents new skills to manage difficult situations at mealtimes and encourage children to make healthy choices. The study uses videoconference technology to provide parents with real time coaching during mealtimes regarding specific ways to make healthy changes to their child’s diet.
Expert coaching using videoconference technology provides you with feedback and support when you need it most, without leaving your own home!
