College Day: Tuesday, September 16, 2025

Welcome to the College of Arts and Sciences!

Join us for 'College Day' in the Drexel College of Arts and Sciences!

The Day Is Finally Here.

You've soaked up the last weeks of summer while your friends were already sitting in class. You've waited and wondered and now — you are READY to get started. And so are we!

Arts and Sciences College Day

Tuesday, September 16 is College Day. You'll have the opportunity to meet your professors and other students in your major, before coming together for a college-wide party featuring an interactive resource fair, photo booth, giveaways, a delicious lunch and more! (College Lesson #1: Any event with free food is worth attending.) We'll also be hosting events throughout the week, including an all-things-global event, observatory night, and a behind-the-scenes event at the Academy of Natural Sciences.

Students from all majors in the College of Arts and Sciences are invited to meet their fellow classmates for lunch, giveaways, music and more! Representatives from the College's various student groups and resource centers will be there to discuss the clubs and academic support available to you as you transition to your first year at Drexel.

The schedule of events is below. Make sure you attend all events for your major on September 16. If you have any questions, just email coas@drexel.edu and we'll find you an answer. Need directions to an event? Download a campus map here!

College Day | Tuesday, September 16, 2025

9 a.m. – 12 p.m. | Academic Department and Program Sessions
During the morning, each College of Arts and Sciences department or program will host a unique, mandatory session for their new majors. You’ll also collect your “passport” and get your first stamp of the day, which will allow you to enter a raffle at the Carnival and Resource Fair! A full schedule including times, locations and session descriptions, will be available via DrexelOne later this summer.

1–3 p.m. | CoAS Carnival and Resource Fair
In the afternoon, show some College of Arts and Sciences (CoAS) pride as you and your fellow students play carnival games, enjoy fair-themed snacks, pick up some swag, and more! Representatives from the college’s various student groups and resource centers will be there to discuss the clubs and academic support available as you transition to your first year at Drexel. Collect stamps at these tables to fill in your “passport,” and enter a raffle to win prizes. Check DrexelOne later this summer to register for this event in the Welcome Week Schedule!
