Drexel University's Math Resource Center serves all undergraduate students who need assistance with mathematics courses

The Math Resource Center is available to Drexel University students who need assistance with any undergraduate math course. We are located in the Korman Center, second floor, room 207 for in-person tutoring. Tutoring generally begins on the first week of classes and ends on the final week of classes. In addition, the Math Resource Center hosts Study Booster Sessions and Residence Hall Tutoring Sessions during each academic term. Information about specific math tutors will be posted on our Korman Center Schedule.

The Math Resource Center is a proud member of the Drexel ARC (Academic Resource Center), which offers an integrated hub of academic support services for all Drexel students.

In-person Tutoring

  • Korman Center – Room 207
  • Monday—Thursday: 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
  • Friday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
  • Closed on weekends and university holidays.
  • Only in-person tutoring is available during the fall and winter term.

Residence Hall Tutoring Sessions

Starting on Monday, October 2, 2023, the Math Resource Center will visit Drexel residence halls each week from 8 p.m.–9 p.m. to offer tutoring and to answer any questions you may have about Math 100, 101, 102, 105, 116, and 121.

Sessions are held from 8–9 p.m.

  • Mondays: Race Hall (Second-floor, lounge), North Hall (First-floor multipurpose room) and Van Rensselaer Hall (Ballroom)
  • Tuesdays: Bentley Hall (Seminar room 157) and Millennium Hall (First-floor lounge)
  • Wednesdays: Towers Hall (First-floor lobby), Caneris Hall (First-floor multi-purpose room) and Kelly Hall (Commons classroom)

Our Approach – Fall, Winter, Spring

  • The Math Resource Center is staffed by up to five tutors during all hours of operation.
  • We provide immediate, on-site assistance on a first-come first-served basis to all students.
  • If your questions are not resolved on the first visit, the Math Resource Center will provide a list of available tutors best suited to address your needs.
