SSN SACE-Drexel – Chennai, India – Direct Pathway Master’s Program in Biomedical Engineering
The SSN SACE-Drexel University Direct Pathway Master’s Program in Biomedical Engineering offers an efficient path towards an MS degree.
Program Overview
Once admitted, students begin their studies at SSN SACE, Chennai, India in the Fall semester and complete 10 semester credits (equivalent to 15 quarter credits). The students will transfer to Drexel University, Philadelphia, USA at the end of their first semester. The students will then continue their studies in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems at Drexel University. After completing 30 credits, SSN and Drexel credits are combined to award the student an MS degree in Biomedical Engineering. The degree will be awarded by Drexel University. Students can achieve specialization by taking elective courses in addition to core courses at Drexel University.
Eligibility for Admission to Program
- Undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- CGPA- 8 (out of 10) / 3 (out of 4) or higher
- IELTS / TOEFL:
- IELTS – Overall 7.0 & Above, Speaking 6.5 or higher
- TOEFL – 90 or higher
Requirements
Applications for this program should include an essay of motivation stating the student’s interest in the Direct Pathway Master’s program along with two letters of recommendation.
