The Association for Women in Science (AWIS) Philadelphia Chapter is currently accepting applications from female graduate students invited to present their original research at a national or international meeting or conference in 2023, including in-person (up to $500) and virtual (up to $250). The deadline to apply is November 1, 2022. Please note that the meeting or conference must be related to the student's field of study and must occur in 2023. No exceptions.

The popular AWIS PHL Mentoring Circles Program returns for 2022-2023. Junior scientists in the Philadelphia area meet once a month with mentors to discuss issues in both career and life. It is also a great opportunity to network with area scientists and meet members of AWIS-PHL. Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis, and slots are limited.
