Set up your account for multi-factor authentication

Multi-factor authentication is an additional security step that helps protect your account by making it harder for other people to break in. You can follow these steps to set up your account for multi-factor authentication.

  Note

We strongly recommend that you set up multiple authentication methods. You might need to use an alternate verification method with your account for several reasons. For example, you forgot your phone or device; you lost your phone or got a new phone number; or you're not getting the authentication text or phone call.

Set up your authentication method

  1. Sign in to myapps.microsoft.com with your Drexel email address and password.
  2. From the Apps page, select your profile picture from the upper-right corner, where it says your name and Drexel University, and then select Profile.
  3. My apps portal, showing available apps
  4. The Profile page appears, showing your profile information. Select the Edit security info link.
