Associate Professor Debra Ruben has been appointed the Academic Associate Dean of Drexel’s Westphal College of Media Arts and Design. Professor Ruben was the long-serving Program Director for the undergraduate Interior Design and graduate Interior Architecture & Design programs, both of which have Council for Interior Design accreditations and top rankings from DesignIntelligence. She co-chaired the committees to develop the MS Design Research program and the Sustainability in the Built Environment minor. As Associate Dean, Ruben will oversee Westphal’s recruitment, academic advising and marketing, and will coordinate faculty and curricular development efforts.
