DUTV

Drexel University Television (DUTV) is carried throughout Metropolitan Philadelphia by both Comcast channel 54 (or 62) and Verizon FIOS channel 37, reaching more than 400,000 homes. The station broadcasts from The Paul F. Harron Studios, home to fully-equipped studios and remote production and post-production equipment. DUTV broadcasts on a 24-hour schedule and provides ample opportunities for students to participate in front of and behind camera. Those who want to gain additional production experience can participate in the station’s professional training program and may join the production staff through co-op positions, internships, work study, and part-time work. Our students produce DNEWS—a monthly magazine show covering all things Drexel, and OFF CAMPUS—a scripted comedy series written and produced by students. Numerous Drexel events are televised, including the annual Drexel Fashion Show and many Music Industry events.
