Marco Rathjen is an avid privacy advocate whose work focuses on restoring privacy, by creating awareness, strategies, and technology to ensure privacy. He is especially interested in re-enabling anonymity while navigating public spaces. Thus, subverting the remote sensing aspects of surveillance-camera technology and biometric facial recognition systems. Marco believes that simple interventions can help to empower people to live more informationally self-determined lives, either through more awareness or through concrete technological measures. He hopes to offer easy to implement solutions to strengthen individual privacy.
