Since 2012, Monica has worked with Drexel’s collections in a variety of roles. She especially enjoys working with students across different programs: sharing exceptional garments with fashion students to explore construction techniques and sources of design inspiration, doing archival research with history students, and teaching collections management to museum leadership students. Her BA in Studio Art, MS in Fashion Design, and MS in Communication, Culture and Media reflect the convergence of her interests in the material culture of fashion and design history. Through these different perspectives, she enjoys telling stories through objects, exploring how things were made, and carrying the legacy of Drexel’s collections forward.
