Though a native of the Philadelphia area, Katie Gross has been in New York for ten years at The New School University. She currently holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Illustration and a Masters of Arts in History of Design and Curatorial Studies from Parsons School of Design. Her graduate studies focused on contemporary curatorial practice, further examining ideas around the use of institutional critique within museum curation. She has presented papers at the Cooper Hewitt Museum as well as at the annual Mid-Atlantic Popular & American Culture Conference.
While attending Parsons for her graduate degree, Katie served as Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Parsons School of Design. She has six years of experience in international recruitment, student success, marketing and portfolio development. Katie is excited to be back in her hometown and ready to join the Drexel University team at Westphal College!
