Devon Burgoyne is a Philly-based designer specializing in motion for interactive experiences and immersive stories. His work, spanning eight years in motion and experience design, has been recognized by CommArts, Awwwards, Fast Company, and Webby.

Originally from Baltimore, Devon studied graphic design at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Since 2022 he’s run an independent design and animation practice, leading motion initiatives for clients like Stripe, the Library of Congress, and Design Philadelphia. Devon has taught motion design as an Adjunct Professor at MICA and Drexel, and is an evangelist for storytelling as a core design skill – one that can be well imparted through the study of linear media. Devon works and lives in Fishtown where he can be found fostering dogs, playing chef, and doing his best to nurture non-professional creative pursuits.
