In conjunction with the School of Education, the Teaching and Learning Center, and other units at Drexel University, the Graduate College organizes a Teaching Assistant Orientation and Preparation Course for new teaching assistants (TAs) in the fall term. This program introduces the roles and responsibilities of TAs and provides participants with creative strategies and engaging learning experiences to help them prepare to teach at Drexel. The Teaching and Learning Center and Graduate College also collaborate to provide graduate students with professional development opportunities throughout the year that provide practical strategies for common teaching tasks, challenges and opportunities.

The Graduate College, Teaching and Learning Center, Online Learning Council Faculty Fellows, and Office of Postdoctoral Affairs have also collaborated on the development of a pilot non-credit Certificate in College Teaching.
