The COEUS Replacement Project project is focused on designing, building, testing, and deploying a best-practices system aligned with updated business processes, policies, and procedures to reduce administrative burden across Drexel’s research enterprise. The system will empower the research community to take control and manage research in an integrated, transparent environment. 

The implementation includes the following: 

• Modules 

  • IACUC Compliance Management 

  • Animal Facilities Management (ULAR) 

  • Sponsored Projects Proposal and Award Management (OSP) 

  • HRPP/IRB Compliance Management 

• Data migration from legacy systems to new environment 

• Enterprise (HR) and financial integrations with Banner 

In addition to the new system implementation, the project will create a post-production control framework to ensure Drexel maintains improvements made throughout the project, monitors and responds to any declines in performance, and exercises proper management of the activities with a focus on continuous improvement.
