[URCF] Research Computing Training Activities
The University Research Computing Facility is excited to announce the first two workshops for our Fall 2023 research computing training series, which for this semester will be presented online via Zoom:
Introduction to Linux
Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 3:00PM - 5:00PM
The workshop provides the introduction to the Linux Command Line Interface for researchers. Topics will include the file system, file/directory manipulations, redirection and piping, and basic scripting.

Introduction to Research Computing on Picotte
Wednesday, October 18, 2023, from 3:00PM - 5:00PM
In this workshop, participants are introduced to the Picotte Cluster, Drexel University's high-performance computing resource. We will go over Picotte's structure, its basic usage, and how to submit computational tasks to the cluster.

As part of our efforts to improve user engagement, training activities will be carried out under a separate account/partition that would not count toward your primary projects. Please feel free to disseminate these training activities to others.
Future workshop on the topics of Python and R will be hosted later in the semester.
