PURPOSE AND APPLICATION
In limited circumstances, students may seek changes to the academic record including course grades or course registration. This policy specifies the timeframe under which appeals for such changes will be considered.
STATEMENT OF POLICY
Academic Record Changes (Transcript)
Students are given one year from the time of separation from an academic program or change of program of study to contest any actions or changes to their transcript including changes of grades. Separation from a program includes non-enrollment, withdrawal, or leave of absence. Approved leaves of absence, including those associated with medical leave or military service, will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Nothing in this policy is intended to be contrary to the provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
