I. PURPOSE AND APPLICATION

The purpose of this policy is to provide guidance on parameters on the statute of limitations on earned course credit.

II. SCOPE

This policy applies to all students.

III. IMPLEMENTATION

Implementation of this policy is the responsibility of the Office of the Provost. For inquiries regarding this policy, please contact the Office of the Provost at provost@drexel.edu.

IV. STATEMENT OF POLICY

No earned course credit for a course completed ten years or more at Drexel or another institution before the intended graduation date may be applied to a degree program at Drexel University, unless reviewed and approved by the academic dean or designee of the academic unit offering the course. An academic unit or academic program may require courses to have been completed in a timeframe less than ten years.
