School of Education presents “Critical Conversation in Urban Education” By Anthony Hopkins, Marketing & Communications Manager

The School of Education will host one of the nation’s leading scholars on Urban Education issues for an event titled “Engaging Multiple Voices: Issues that Divide and Unite in Urban Education” on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at Bossone Research Center’s Mitchell Auditorium.

At the event, organized by SoE’s Critical Conversations in Urban Education Committee, Dr. H. Richard Milner, IV will speak to an audience of local education advocates, school administrators, teachers, and Drexel University faculty, staff, students and alumni who have an interest in urban education issues.

The event is free and light refreshments and snacks will be served. If you would like to attend, please RSVP here.

In addition to the presentation by Dr. H. Richard Milner, IV, Drexel University schools, colleges, departments, organizations who have programs, initiatives and/or research centered on urban issues are invited to reserve a table at the Exhibit Hall that will be set up in the lobby outside of the event. The School of Education will provide a 6-foot table and chairs at no cost. All participating groups must provide their own tablecloths, power cords and other needs for their exhibit.
