Quality Improvement Quarterly - AY 2015-16
By Steve DiPietro, Associate Vice Provost
Institutional Research, Assessment and Effectiveness
Roughly 2,500 years ago, Heraclitus said, “Change is the only constant.” Those who know Drexel University understand the truth of those words. Drexel’s faculty and staff are always striving to improve classes, programs, facilities and services, and the Quality Improvement Quarterly newsletter, now in its third year, was conceived as a forum for the Drexel community to share quality improvement initiatives, noteworthy events, and topics of interest to the student experience as well as staff and faculty opinions about how to make Drexel even better.
The Quality Improvement Quarterly is published electronically in the Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters. The Fall edition contains articles on the WACE Institute which Drexel is hosting this fall, a feature on direct assessment contributed by Ray Lum of the School of Public Health, and details on last month’s second annual assessment conference. Readers are invited to submit story ideas to either Steve DiPietro at firstname.lastname@example.org or Joe Hawk at jmh356 @drexel.edu.
