Last year, students, faculty, staff and researchers at Drexel University and the Academy of Natural Sciences came together to make 2021 Drexel’s Climate Year. Together with the Climate & Sustainability Working Group, I am pleased to share highlights of the progress that has been made since the midyear report in July.
I wanted to make sure you received the invite to the Pennoni Panel on academic freedom in the classroom hosted by the Pennoni Honors College. This virtual panel discussion is among a series of discussions that are being collaboratively hosted across the University to address academic freedom and diversity and inclusion efforts.
A joint initiative of the Provost’s Office and the Drexel Solutions Institute, the Provost Solutions Fellows comprise faculty experts from across the University who partner with external organizations to address organizational challenges, build research and scholarship, and create experiential learning opportunities for Drexel students. We are pleased to share that four faculty members have been appointed to two-year terms as Provost Solutions Fellows, joining the inaugural cohort.
