Biography

Weaver joined Drexel University in 2007 as the College of Arts and Science’s inaugural communications and marketing professional. Over the following 11+ years, she built the College’s brand and a marketing team of five, developing strategic, multi-channel marketing and communications plans to advance College and University priorities. She also conceptualized Ask magazine, an annual publication with a distribution of 25,000+ — including College alumni and donors, University leadership and peer institutions — for which she served as Creative Director and Editor.

After serving as the College’s Director of Marketing and Communications for over seven years, in 2017, she was named Executive Director of Marketing, Communications and Recruitment, formally bringing the College’s enrollment and recruitment strategy under her purview.

In 2019, Weaver joined the LeBow College of Business as Executive Director for Communications and Marketing. When LeBow Dean Paul Jensen was named Interim Provost of the University (later becoming Provost), he named Weaver Interim Vice Provost for Communications and Marketing in a dual appointment with her LeBow role. In 2021, Weaver was named the permanent Vice Provost for Strategic Communications and Marketing.
