Curriculum
Degree Requirements
Students in the Custom-Designed Major must take a minimum of 123 semester credits to complete their degree. Plans of study include the following course types:
University Requirements: 18 credits
Free Electives: 15 credits
College Requirements: 18 credits
Custom core courses ground Custom students in the theories of interdisciplinary inquiry and case studies of applied interdisciplinarity. Students further develop communication strategies, feedback skills, and connections with the Custom cohort.
Individualized Course Requirements: 72+ credits
Individualized course requirements make up the bulk of the student's curriculum. These courses are selected from across multiple disciplines, connected to the student's three concentration areas. These courses must demonstrate interdisciplinary breadth and intellectual depth.
