Leadership
Honors Program students are not only academically talented and motivated but also have the ambition and drive to become active leaders within the Honors Program. Honors Program Leaders contribute to the Honors Program Community and play an
important role for Honors programming.
Honors Mentors
An Honors Mentor is an upperclassmen student who is interested in facilitating meaningful activities and events to a group of approximately 15-20 Honors Program first-year students. An Honors Mentor serves as a confidant and resource for their
mentees and provides a safe space for their cohort to support one another throughout their first year at Drexel. Mentors act as a representative of the Honors Program and answer any questions or concerns their mentees might have, as well as being
available via phone and email throughout the duration of their mentees’ first year.
During the year, Mentors are asked to plan 3 programs per term that allow their mentees to become acclimated to Drexel, the city of Philadelphia and their first-year experience.
Interested in applying? Applications are available in June for upperclassmen students in good standing with the Honors Program.
